 Art... | Banda Bassotti is an Italian ska-punk band formed in 1987 in Rome. Their songs are generally political in nature, focusing on Communist and anti-Fascist issues. Many are about Ireland and Latin America, as well. The band was inspired by The Clash and The Specials. The band was very politically active from the very beginning, attending protests and sympathizing with anti-Fascist movements in Italy
The italian band Banda Bassotti was recently in Moscow on a Donbass-Solidarity Tour "Concierto Caravana-Ukraine-Antifascista" supported by a number of musicians from Italy and Spain. A member of the US-band Antiflag tokk part with the tour. |
